I glorify the name of our glorious God for His loving kindness, mercy and grace that sustained us this far.
Last week I made known that the witness of God in you is evidenced in His mandate. So, our potencies should be channeled towards achieving the mandate of God for our lives.
Today, I will be sharing with you a message titled, SHALLOW KINDNESS.
The expectations of young minister have become something scary and out of the mandate of God.
Revival tarries today because the focus of man is not the target of God.
The scripture says:
“And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, ask what I shall do for thee, before I we be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.” 2King 2:9
Elisha was able to uphold the revival pace kick-started by Elijah because material gains were not his focus, worldly acknowledgments didn’t entice him; but the course of his master.
How many young ministers are today working the works of their master without the expectation of material gains?
If we really need revival, then we must seek the kind of heart of God, to conquer the state of shallow kindness.
I pray that the grace of God, help us through in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
