Our Belief

WE BELIEVE AND TEACH

The Bible

That the Holy Bible, consisting of 39 books of the Old Testament and 27 book of the New Testament, is the inspired word of God. We take the Bible as the final authority in all matters concerning Christian conduct and work. We teach all the word of God, adding nothing to it and taking nothing from it.

We normally use the King James Version. 2 Tim.3:16, 17; Prov. 30:5, 6 ; Rev. 22:18,19.

The Trinity

That the Godhead consists of three separate and distinct persons possessing separate, distinct, and recognizable personalities and qualities perfectly united in one. The father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are different persons in the Godhead, nor merely three names for one person.

Mat. 3:16, 17, 2Cor. 13:14; Mat. 28:9, 20.

Jesus Christ

Isa. 7:14, Mat. 1:18, 25; Rom. 1:4; 1 Cor. 15:3,4.

Man

The real man and total depravity, sinfulness and guilt of all men since the fall, rendering them subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.

Ps. 51:5, Job 14:4; 25:4, Rom. 3:23; 5:12-17, Mk. 7:21-23, Eph. 2:1-3.

Repentance

That repentance is conscious acknowledgement of one’s position as a sinner and complete turning away from sin and its deceitful pleasures and that it is required from every sinner before he can truly and effectively believe in Jesus with saving faith.

Prov. 28:13, Isa. 55:7; Ezek. 18:21-23; Mk. 1:15; Lk. 24:46, 47; Acts 3:38, 3:19, 20:20, 21:2; Cor. 7:10, Heb. 6 1-3.

Restitution

That Restitution is making amends for wrongs done against our fellowmen, restoring stolen things to their rightful owners, giving back where one had defrauded, making confessions to the offended and apologizing to those slandered so as to have a conscience void of offence towards God and man.

Gen. 20:1-8, 14-18; Ex. 22:1-17; Lev. 6:1-7; Num. 5:6,8; 2 Sam. 13:1-6; Prov. 6:3; Ezek. 33:14-16, Mat. 5:23, 24; Lk. 19:8,9; Act. 23:1-5, 24:16; Jam. 4:17-18, 5:6.

Mat. 26:26-29; Lk. 22:17-120; I Cor. 11:23-30.

Personal Consecration

That consecration is an act of t0otal separation from the world and its deceitful pleasures and recognizing and accepting the divine ownership of all things (our money, time, talents, etc.). Dressing must be modest (both in cost and volume of materials), not obscene or exposing the body (for both men and ladies as found in those who are worldly). Ladies shall cover their heads during services whiles men shall not. We do not encourage the use of jewelries, but rather to shun altogether their use in order to curb excesses and/or avoid being stumbling blocks to others – unbelievers and weak in faith. We do not permit the use of alcohol, tobacco snuffing or chewing, or hard usage, as these defile our body, which is the temple of Holy Ghost. This is the beginning of practical Christianity which we believe should be the normal life of every Christian.
